Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores the representation of Indian urban youth in selected novels by Chetan Bhagat, focusing on key social and cultural themes such as class ambition, education, modern relationships, career struggles, and identity formation. Using qualitative textual analysis of Five Point Someone, 2 States, The 3 Mistakes of My Life, and Half Girlfriend, the research identifies recurring motifs that reflect contemporary urban realities in India. It argues that Bhagat’s fiction not only reflects but also influences how young Indians perceive success, love, and social expectations.
