Abstract

the most recent developments in offshore renewable energy platforms, as well as an investigation of the innovations and problems in ocean engineering that are linked with the creation and deployment of these platforms. There has been a substantial increase in interest in offshore wind, wave, and tidal energy as potential alternatives to traditional fossil fuels as a result of the worldwide move towards renewable energy sources. Offshore renewable energy platforms have a significant potential for generating clean energy from the ocean while simultaneously minimising their impact on the environment and lowering their carbon emissions. The most recent technology advancements in offshore wind turbines, wave energy converters, and tidal energy systems, with a particular emphasis on enhancements in terms of efficiency, dependability, and cost-effectiveness. In addition, it tackles the engineering issues
that are associated with offshore operations, such as installation, maintenance, and grid integration. Additionally, it includes environmental factors, such as the impact on habitats and the preservation of marine species. the current state of offshore renewable energy platforms, as well as the identification of important problems and possibilities, will drive future research orientations and policy activities that are aimed at speeding the adoption of sustainable energy solutions and minimising the consequences of climate change
