The Effectiveness of Virtual Physical Education Classes During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Main Article Content
Abstract
Worldwide, the COVID-19 epidemic posed unprecedented problems for education systems, forcing the sudden shutdown of schools and the rapid adoption of distance learning approaches. There were special difficulties for physical education (PE) programmes in this setting since they had always relied on hands-on exercises and classroom instruction. this study examined the effects of COVID-19 pandemic-era virtual PE sessions on student participation, exercise, and health in general. Physical education teachers and students alike had to quickly adjust to new methods brought about by the abrupt shift to online education. This research delves at the
methods used by schools to provide physical education online, including live broadcasts, recorded exercises, and fitness monitoring applications. The effectiveness of these tactics in encouraging students to retain their current levels of physical activity and adopt a healthy lifestyle is assessed.
