Abstract

The importance of local governments in fostering environmental sustainability has grown in light of the world's increasing preoccupation with climate change, resource depletion, and environmental deterioration. local governments' various policies and activities aimed at promoting environmental sustainability in their own areas will be studied using a case study methodology. This research aims to shed light on the complex relationship between local government's role in promoting environmental sustainability and the results attained by implementing such policies.
