Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping job markets worldwide, particularly in manufacturing and service industries. This study explores the impact of AI automation and robotics on employment trends in China and Taiwan, analyzing shifts in labor demand, job displacement risks, and skill transformation requirements. Findings suggest that AI adoption increases productivity and innovation but raises concerns about workforce displacement. The study emphasizes the need for reskilling programs and government policies to prepare workers for AI-driven economies. Recommendations include investing in digital education, promoting AI ethics, and balancing automation with human labor integration.
