The Impact of E-Government Services on Public Administration Efficiency in Southeast Asia

Abstract
The adoption of e-government services has significantly transformed public administration by improving transparency, efficiency, and citizen engagement. This study examines the implementation of digital governance platforms in Malaysia and the Philippines, analyzing their impact on administrative processes, service delivery, and public trust. Using a comparative approach, the research highlights key challenges such as digital infrastructure gaps, cybersecurity concerns, and resistance to change. Findings indicate that while e-governance enhances bureaucratic efficiency and reduces corruption risks, successful implementation requires robust policy frameworks and continuous technological advancements.
