Abstract

The shift toward renewable energy is crucial in addressing climate change and achieving sustainable economic growth. This paper evaluates the economic and environmental impact of large-scale solar power adoption, focusing on its role in reducing carbon emissions and energy costs. It analyzes case studies from India and Denmark, examining policy frameworks, financial incentives, and technological advancements driving solar energy expansion. Findings indicate that while solar energy contributes to energy independence and job creation, challenges such as intermittency and storage limitations need to be addressed through policy support and innovation in battery technology.
