Abstract

The advent of 5G technology has introduced new cybersecurity risks due to its high-speed connectivity and vast network of interconnected devices. This paper investigates vulnerabilities in 5G networks, including data breaches, denial-of-service attacks, and supply chain risks. It also explores security frameworks and advanced encryption techniques designed to mitigate these threats. Using case studies from early 5G adopters, the research highlights best practices for securing next-generation networks. The findings emphasize the need for a proactive cybersecurity strategy involving collaboration between governments, telecom providers, and cybersecurity experts to safeguard digital infrastructures against evolving cyber threats.
