Abstract
Innovation has emerged as a crucial factor in driving growth and transformation within the public sector, therefore transforming the way in which governments function and serve the people they represent. The most important aspect of this innovation is the key role that
leadership plays. The decisions and strategies that are implemented by leaders have a huge impact on the ability of a company to innovate in an efficient manner. The purpose of this research study is to investigate the complex link that exists between leadership styles and innovation in the public sector. More specifically, the article will focus on the dynamics,
problems, and possibilities that are present within this crucial interaction.
