Legal Liability for Electronic Media Content: A Comparative Study of Kuwaiti and Egyptian Legislation

Abstract
This research examines legal liability for electronic media content under Kuwaiti and Egyptian legislation, identifying the persons subject to criminal liability, the basis for attributing such liability, and the associated violations and sanctions. It further clarifies the legal regulation of electronic media websites and delineates the scope of liability of the responsible manager, editor-in-chief, writer, and other persons involved in content management, alongside the regulation of the right of reply and correction. The research highlights the similarities and differences between the compared legislations, particularly with regard to the standards of effective control over content and the management of unlawful content, thereby contributing to the development of the legal framework governing liability for electronic media content.․.
