Abstract
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the one sent as a mercy to the worlds, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.
This study examines examples of the harshest criticisms leveled by one of the leading scholars of Hadith, Al-Hafiz Al-Dhahabi, in his book Al-Kashif. It explores Al-Dhahabi's intended meaning behind these criticisms, comparing them with the opinions of other scholars, both early and later, and ultimately arriving at a conclusion—a judgment on the narrators—based on the opinions of these scholars. The research consists of an introduction, two preliminary sections introducing Al-Hafiz Al-Dhahabi, and a third section presenting an applied study. Each of these sections comprises four points, except for the third, which contains three. The study concludes with a summary of the most significant findings
