Abstract
This study addresses the matters regarding policies and commercial pressures that rely on corporate sources and its effects on print media reporting. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of environmental news coverage within traditional reporting methods, which need to be modified according to the demands of the era of globalization. The secular democratic society needs reports of the emergence and disappearance of environmental movements, both of regional and national importance and the underreported mass movements. The effects of environmental issues and concerns of environmentalists around the globe should be addressed with the real life experiences for the broader thematic evaluations and matters regarding private and public sector policy agendas. This study highlights the matters which are primarily operating as the driven factors like state politics and policy-oriented market. Development narrative propaganda that normalises environmental degradation is also a matter for discussion in this study.
